Before joining Chaffin Luhana LLP, Michelle worked for nearly 20 years as a Human Resource Manager. She attended Big Bend Community College followed by Kaplan University where she continues to study the Science of Criminal Justice. Michelle serves her local community through City Council, isan EMT, and assists victims and witnesses of crime which gives her an invaluable passion to help others and aligns with her personal motto, “Making a positive difference for another.” This is consistent with Michelle’s role as an Intake Specialist with the firm where she helps clients with the initial stage of their case, and discusses issues that our clients face due to their injuries.
Outside of the office, Michelle is active in outdoor activities, such as kayaking, hiking, camping, and exploring. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchild. Michelle also volunteers and fundraises for Children’s Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation, and the American Cancer Society.
Michelle’s 2017 Chaffin Luhana Foundation charity donation was to Crisis Center North in Pittsburgh, which is committed to assisting victims of domestic violence through a variety of resources and confidential services. Michelle is proud to support a great organization and the donation will allow CCN to continue providing services to victims of domestic abuse.
